We started as a geolocation based marketing software as a service company (GeoLoqal). Back then, we were a team of 12 folks – mostly development and our founder was the guerrilla marketer. We acquired interest from large enterprises like Cap Gemini, Deutsche Telekom, AT&T, DigiCorp etc but the sales cycles were more than 9 months long.
We ran out of money.
To survive, we pivoted into a custom software development company and started working with startups that needed lean customer development centric software development (agile to the core).
Most of those startups could not market enough to save themselves.
They ran out of money.
We started working with larger enterprises like Amazon Web Services, Mt Sinai Hospitals, Gigaspaces, Magnacare and got back on our feet… on stable grounds.
We never forgot our lean agile startup mentality. It’s still in our core.
Over the last 5 years, we kept working with healthcare customers more and more, learning more and more. Ultimately, we realized that healthcare challenges cannot be solved by software alone. Software can help you almost all the way.
