Yup.. that’s exactly how patients behave.. and prefer to communicate! Research shows that 64% of people prefer SMS over a phone call. On an average, it takes 90 seconds for patients to respond to SMS (vs email or voicemail).

Post visit, post call surveys

Want to know how your practice is doing? You can have simple to very extensive CG-CAHPS style surveys set up (read more on Agency for healthcare research quality website). The great thing about the CG-CAHPS survey (even though it is extensive) is that it assesses patients’ experiences with your providers and staff in your offices. If you’ve ever read through negative comments and reviews on Google/Facebook/ZocDoc etc, you will find that most of those negative reviews are not really about the quality of care (i.e. the doctor), rather, about the practice operations.

It is really hard to know how your patients perceive your service while you are busy seeing patients all day. Use post visit surveys to gather information from patients.

We recommend having post call surveys as well. These are easily tied into your IVR that we help you set up with Engage.
